God stepped into our daily world personally to reveal to us God Himself, in the person we know to be Jesus, the Son of God the Father. John chapter 1, verses 1 and 14 record: “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. … The Word became flesh and lived among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth”. God entreats us to learn how this affects us today, personally, because Jesus is knocking on our door to be let into our heart – “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me.”
