#2 in the Series: Fruit of the Spirit

Have you at times been told to “be true to yourself” or “you should be the master of your own destiny“. This sounds good, and it sounds like good advice. But the reality, though many people do not yet appreciate this, is that ‘God is who we should be true to‘, because ‘he is the master of our true destiny‘. This is not just a nice sounding Christian comment, but, if you investigate it, you will find that it is the truth.

We can doubt God’s word, distrust him, or ignore him. Such as thinking that “I have far ‘better’ things to do at the moment; or, I will consider that later“. If so, then we have just made the decision to ignore him, with the disastrous possibility that we may never feel like investigating this truth at a later date. However, whenever we fail, the good news is that Christ remains faithful, and he cannot do otherwise, but he will ultimately reject us if we reject him – so please do seek to know Jesus, the only way to God.

If you do not currently have a personal relationship with Jesus, then do ask for his help to get to know him. God desires to lead you to a positive life-changing outcome. Pray this to Jesus.
