Jeff reminds us that “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.” (Lamentations 3:22). He illustrates this from his own experience as he speaks to us his testimony. He says that “One thing I’ve realized about the Christian life is that God does not subscribe to our agenda; He has His own agenda for His sons & daughters: His agenda is to make us more like His Son, and this takes a lifetime.” The writer in Ecclesiastes 7:14 succinctly puts it to us – “When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.“
