This sermon:

Hearing the Word of Truth

The second in the series on The Book of Ephesians.
It is great to know the word of God in the Bible. What does it mean to you? Do you read your Bible every day? And do you share your faith in God and share his word with others you know or meet? Campbell gives us his take on how to go about sharing this vitally important discovery that you have made, and why share. He gives us some points to consider.

A compelling reason to tell others is what Jesus tells us, as recorded in John 6:47 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.” (ESV). No one should miss out on this advice from Jesus! Jesus is referring to believing in him, rather than in simply trusting in ourselves. Trusting in ourselves is in effect trusting in what we do. But too often we get it wrong.
