Number 6 on the sermon series “I AM – GOD”
The gospel of John tells us much of what Jesus said to his disciples shortly before he was killed. But what did Jesus mean when he said “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” (John 15:1-2). Phil tells us how he understands pruning by God in our lives, and how beneficial such pruning can be.
