It is a challenge to determine how to fit into this world – we all need encouragement. Christians say that church is the answer, but the church is not always encouraging. Most people have wrong impressions of church, which is not surprising. An intimate relationship with God, meditating on His word, and with prayer, positively affects everything that we do. It affects all that the church can do, and God can then show people the right impression that they need in their life. The issue is not how good a sermon is, or any support that a church may desire.

Campbell tells us what is important in life, and in the church. So we need to persevere, to meet together, and to pray. There is always hope, regardless of the circumstances that we are in, so don’t be discouraged. An intimate personal relationship with God is the most important thing in life.
