No 3 in the series on The Bible book of Ephesians

Do you need to get to know God better? Well Paul has much to say on this in Ephesians. You will already know at least something about God, so how often do you share his wonderful gospel message with others? Well Campbell (in a most relaxed way) has much to say that should be helpful to you here, and to the ones who you love. We know that God speaks through his word, and that prayer and his word are vital for us, but usually we only realise just a tiny part of God’s desire for us to be with him in every step that we take.

The new heaven and the new earth are not just a hunch or a dream but a reality. Isaiah chapters 65 and 66 give us more than a few hints of this reality, along with 2 Peter 3:13 and Revelation 21:1. But these are not the only references to this reality.

Paul spoke in Ephesians chapters 1 and 3 of things that he knew are really important for prayer –
1. know Christ,
2. have a sure and certain hope based on what God has told us,
3. understand the power of God, and
4. accept the Holy Spirit’s powerful guidance.
