This sermon:

Stick to it – Pressing on

“Once saved always saved!” Is this true? Can I love and follow God now and then fall away later? Adam talks about this and tells us what the Bible says that we need to understand. And he also fleshes out a companion question – “if I do fall away from Christ then surely Jesus will accept me back again.” Adam doesn’t simply tell us the answer but shows us the reality, the truth. Shows us why we need to read the Bible regularly. This is not an easy message to hear, because it cuts to the truth of the matter. But the single most important ingredient in hearing the truth is the listener WANTING to hear it.

Jesus, the creator of the universe, out of love, took on flesh to become a man, and he died a most horrible death on the cross of our sins, which we all do regularly. So to turn away from Jesus is the epitome of being ungrateful.
