There is no doubt that Jesus was crucified and that he died as a result. Many have tried to refute this, but the evidence to show that this is true is overwhelming, with more confirmation than the history of any other person who lived over 1,000 years ago. Confirmation by both those who are Christian and those who are not – which is something that is worth your research too. The challenge is that Jesus referred to himself as the ‘son of man’, which is also the title in the prophesy of the Messiah that was to come. Jeff gives us some of this evidence, gives us links to other evidence, and tells us about what Jesus did after he had been killed, testified by the many who saw him and ate with him when he was then alive after death. Of course, we often think that we ‘know’ this to be impossible, because once you are dead that is it. But what if we are wrong, we seek out the evidence, and the evidence compels to us that this is the case. Including such things as the initial doubts of those who were followers of Jesus. They had to find the evidence too before they would be convinced.
