The Bible does not spell out all the things that are right or wrong for us to do. Like, does God mind if I smoke, and, is it ok for me to wear a revealing brief bikini on the beach. In Corith it was difficult to know if food had been offered to idols, and believers grappled with whether that mattered or not. Paul gives us great insight which helps us to struggle with things that Corinthians never even considered that later generations (us) would face.
