Are you living a double life? Is the way that you are living the same as the way that you profess to be? Would you react kindly to being confronted for things you do that others see as not the way you should be behaving? This Bible passage is hard teaching, especially in an age where we want to be gentle, kind, tolerant and easy-going. However, no one can be even close to be perfect, so when we inevitably fail then we are to remember that God loves to forgive us. So followers of Jesus, as Christians, we are striving to obey. And we need to be open to other Christians, and welcome loving and gentle rebuke from them, with the aim of amending our wrong ways of behaviour.
