“Christ in all the Scriptures”

When Christ opens his word to us we don’t just get information or wise advice. We can get that from a library of books – and really good practical advice too. The Bible is such a book, but it is far more than that. But how can that be? Isn’t it is just a book of words for me to read and learn from. No, it isn’t, it is far more than that. It is the book that gives you life, revealing true life to you, as long as you let Jesus reveal your life to you, the life that he has for you personally. Are you hungry for life, life as it should be but not as it is now? Then I don’t suggest that you just read the Bible, but that you listen intently and prayerfully to what Bob is saying here, then pray to God as you go through the scriptures, seeking for him to draw you close and reveal life to you as it should be, and as he intends it to be. This is no mystery, it is reality.

This video reveals the experience of two people walking along the road to Emmaus. And wow, what an experience they had. They never got over that experience. It totally transformed them positively so that they could transform others positively. I pray that you have that wonderful renewing experience too.
